have: have: tulip daughter bulbs (free for postage)

Hello. I planted 45 Angelique and Greenland tulips last fall and they bloomed quite nicely this past Spring. I'd hoped the spot I'd chosen would stay dry enough this summer that I might have a chance of them coming back in '09.

Well, I decided not to wait and dug up the plot this weekend. Good thing, all of the bulbs I found had split. Generally, as best I can tell, based on the layout of the plot, the Angeliques split into lots of tiny daughters. While the Greenlands seemed to just split in to. I plan to re-plant a few of what might be the Greenlands this Fall. I feel bad throwing out all the other babies. If you would like to attempt to nurse these baby bulbs along for a couple of years, I would happily send them to you for the price of postage. I make no guarantees they will ever bloom again.

Hi Lisa, Do you have the one named little princess? I have not seen them listed in any catalog so far! My son has a girlfriend that is referred to as Little Princess, she even has a t-shirt with that name one the front! Hi Melinda, I am mainly looking for the Species because they are supposedly more perennial then so many other varieties. I do know there are numerous others that are specially bred to be more perennial than others, but 'most' tulips just don't do much here beyond their first good year of bloom. About Perennial Tulips and More tulips that are 'supposed to be' perennials. Might you have any of those from the link above or below? I don't need any Darwin Pink, red, or yellow, as I have those already. Might you have any other named hardy spring bulbs? Sue Here is a link that might be useful: Numerous specie tulip varieties.

Hi guys! Sorry, I guess I did not turn on the email notices when I made my post! I can split what I have between the two of you. I'll weigh the bulbs this weekend. I'll let you all know approx how much it will be for postage. I do have PayPal.
