Love your house! Your roof, brick, and flagstone are all warm colors, and the roof and the flagstone have some intensity of color. They need a color with some weight to it, just enough to stand up to them LOL, not enough to challenge them. Look at some samples in a deeper sage color or a silvery/bronzy/greeny color. If it will go with your flagstone, it will go with the house. Have fun!

With that color of brick, any light shade of white or cream, along with darker shades like black, hunter green, or several shades of gray would look great with that brick color. What color is your roof? That's the other color you need to think about when choosing paint colors for your house. You do not want your trim clashing with it. It can be hard to tell for sure on a computer screen. Does the for sale house you posted have the same color brown roof as yours? In the photo of your house, the roof looks like it has more of a rust undertone on my screen...? The color scheme they chose for the house being sold is nice, but even nicer with a gray or charcoal roof. I like both grays you show from Sherwin Wms., but note the roof color of the house. However, it's really personal preference and what looks good to your eye. As for too light or too dark, you need to test colors on the exterior of your house to decide. Sometimes colors can look lighter in daylight.

We are wanting to paint the side on our house but leave the brick as is for economical reasons. I am stumped on what colors to choose that will also compliment the brown brick and roof. I am wanting to do a darker siding color and a light trim color. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciate!!
