Echo Backpack - Pulling my hair out!!!
Comments (5)I rather doubt the problem is a carbon deposit issue within the exhaust system causing excessive back pressure. I have Serviced and Tuned 1/2 dozen Echo's within the last few yrs and only one had excessive carbon fouling accumulation issues. In that case (Gas Trimmer)the owner had mistakenly doubled the recommended 50-1 Fuel/Oil Ratio and had compounded it with using a cheap variety store multi use 2-stroke oil . Never hurts to check your exhaust (muffler) but Echo mufflers can be easily damaged . I would simply check the spark plug and piston dome for evidence of excessive oily carbon particulate. I have serviced numerous Echo Saws and not one has shown evidence of any carbon fouling but then the Epa has pretty well looked after that within the last few yrs on the Professional Saw Market lol . If the unit has been used buy others and is older than your 2 yr scenario , then by all means the service and operating criteria could be suspect . As for ultrasonic cleaners they take much more than a few minutes to effectively remove any particulate or residual build up within a 2-stroke carb. However you are on the right track and have done most everything than ensure a new plug and properly tune the unit. I suspect you have cap limiters so there is not much tuning really required . Best of luck let us know how it goes Bro :)...See MorePulling out my HAIR..

Comments (34)Yes Macswim that's soapstone. I don't know the name of it, just some scrapes that I cobbled together to make my beloved, fantastic sinked vanity/counter, and tub cabinet counter. The only piece that was greater than 13" wide, was the bottom of the sink, and that pieces was about 20x30". My sink is 18x18" outer dimension, square. The counter that shows in the bathtub pic, is actually 2, 12-13" strips, epoxied together to make the counter which is 22" wide and about 32" deep (front of cabinet to the rear). Soapstone is incredibly easy to work, if you are at all handy, and have the time and inclination....See MoreGarden pathways......pulling out my hair on which way to go!
Comments (81)Thanks Flower! We give you a reward on this forum! :-) 9’ tall? Would 6’ deer fence work? Electric fence is cheaper than deer fence I think. But I only can use it at the countryside in PA. I don’t think I could use electric fence at the place we are in the process to buy in NY state, I have to use a deer fence. It has a few acres of open field and more acres of woods in the far back. When we pulled in the driveway for viewing, there was a deer at the end of the circular , it didn’t even ran away, it just looked at us, and slowly walked away. I knew I’d have a big problem there growing roses. I thought about line up potted rose trees around the circle, but the deer would eat all the blooms. I could use the spray like Diane. But that means I can’t have a lot of roses there, it would be a lot of work spraying after each rain. We have a lot of rain here....See Morezazfuzzroc
