I am in exterior paint color hell. Please help.

Hello everyone ! My home was built in 2002 and has horrible pink brick. I would like to paint the brick. I hired Brick and Batton to create a new facade- which I liked - but my strict HOA (I’m in a golf course community in metro-Atlanta) said the mock up is too light, too bright. I am searching for new color combo for brick, trim, and gutters. Any suggestions? The original mock up has Benjamin Moore Hardwood Putty as the body color and BM Bruton white as the trim, also copper gutters. I can not use copper gutters , so need a replacement color for that as well. Gutters trim color? Gutters body color? Gutters something different? I will attach the mock up. I like the elegant country french vibe. Need a toned-down pairing . Please help !

Sorry for your frustrations. Your “after” looks beautiful. Does your HOA have approved exterior colors? Best start there. You might be able to get close to this look with their options. Good luck.

Thanks for everyone's help! Amanda: Thanks for the compliments on my cabinet pulls. I got them online for $2.49 each! Heard about them on this forum. I "think" they came from "my home hardware" or something like that. I hadn't even thought about white stools. I keep going back and forth trying to match the dark cherry furniture or going totally opposite and getting metal stools with a pewter finish. If I got stools to match the cherry wood, do I have to match my dining chairs? I want stools with a back that swivel with no arms. I can find stools that match my cherry wood, but they're in a totally different style than my ladderback dining chairs. I'm so MUCH a matchy match girl, it's terrible! Love your house! Your roof, brick, and flagstone are all warm colors, and the roof and the flagstone have some intensity of color. They need a color with some weight to it, just enough to stand up to them LOL, not enough to challenge them. Look at some samples in a deeper sage color or a silvery/bronzy/greeny color. If it will go with your flagstone, it will go with the house. Have fun!

Thank you all! I am really warming up to it now with the second coat and with the front windows revealed with the old trim. The old trim is pure white and seems too stark so I may go a softer white. Thanks for the photo @chloebud. That looks great! Originally I was thinking of doing the mailbox and door in a color called "urbane bronze" by Sherwin Williams but that might be too boring? I think we may want to do a "pop" of color for the new door instead - like a bright coral/terracotta color. It is Hawaii after all :-) Once again - I appreciate all of your feedback and comments. I never knew exterior colors could be so nerve wracking!

No, surprisingly we don’t have approved colors for the neighborhood. All the houses are custom. Most of my neighbors have 3 materials on their facade- some combo of stone, brick , shake; or brick , stucco, stone, etc. other 3 sides are usually all brick. For whatever reason my house is just all flat brick !

Actually its the contrast with the blue of the blue-gray roof which is throwing it into the realm of "pink". Too bad. Browner grays and/or earthier colorsfor roof/trim - would have given it a whole different, more harmonious context. Actually what might help, without having to paint brick, is to switch out all the white and black for warm brick-friendly grays. Looks like youve got some variegation in the brick, might help to look at a closeup of that and see what color relationships you have there.
