About Us

Kremer Design Group is a full service design firm with a design studio & resource library in downtown Carmel-by-the-sea. Diane specializes in both large & small projects, furnishing every aspect of her client’s homes, remodel & new construction projects. Customer service is the corner stone of her business. Her style reflects her client’s needs, budget & comfort. Diane’s is an award winning designer featured in local newspapers, interior design magazines & Sunset How to books. Her work has been featured in three major show houses, ASID house tour & featured on HGTV Designers’ Challenge program. She was chosen as a member of the San Francisco Design Center liaison program.

Diane worked with me to design a master bath remodel. With her wise input, we agreed to move two (2) walls to expand the shower & therefore the bathroom. Every detail (from location of electric outlets to the design of the tile) was discussed. From that Diane created the specific plans. With her plans in hand, I marched into the county building office and in 45 minutes marched out with permit in hand! My contractor completed the work at his projected budget and on time, in part because he is an incredible contractor and in part because of the thorough details of Diane's plans. Every morning when I walk into my beautiful new master bath, I am grateful for Diane's expertise and attention to detail..

No project is too big or too small for this designer. She does amazing work. Diane listened to my needs and transform my home to more than I expected. She turned an ordinary space into a bright and comfortable retreat. I am so happy with the outcome. Bravo! I highly recommend Diane.

Diane's knowledge and experience were invaluable to me as I prepared to sell my home. I needed to stay on budget while remodeling a large dated bathroom that I wanted to match the timeless beauty of the rest of the house. She worked quickly to develop a detailed plan that could be used by any contractor to accomplish the work within my budget. Diane would manage the project or the plan could be shared with a buyer upon request if an offer came in before work could begin. That's exactly what happened. Diane's professionalism, resource knowledge, and ability to meet my timeline and defuse the pressure of preparing for a life change earns her the highest of recommendations.

I was in a quandary for over two years about a bathroom upgrade. After a consultation with Diane, my mind was cleared and I proceeded with new construction. Her advice, selection of color, fixtures, and all aspects of design were excellent. I now have a beautiful and more functional space. I never would have conceived of the solutions she recommended to me. The project came in on time and on budget. My next project for her is my living room.
