The cabinet material is Cleaf brand Laminate in Rovere color, which is a snap to wipe clean. Tile is from Emser. Flooring is Coretec brand luxury vinyl tile. The countertop is Silestone Shiitake in a 2CM thickness. The couple is retired and moved here to be closer to their grown children and small grandchildren. They wanted an open plan great room with room for their grandchildren to play when they come over. They needed a dining table large enough to seat at least 6, although by using the upholstered cubes and seating the kids on the end, they have had 8 around the table comfortably. So I created this roll out dining table that tucks into a pocket created by alternating depth cabinets on the other side. There is even room for a bench to tuck underneath, which we had custom made and painted to match the display cabinet.

Since the entryway opens right onto the kitchen, and the living room is next to the entry, the raised bar and taller display cabinet that wraps around the corner of the island help to screen the sink area. And it creates more of a living room look on that end while giving her a great place to display some interesting collectibles.
