A compact, cluttered kitchen with inadequate storage and an awkward layout gets a much needed overhaul with a rationalized floor plan and new cabinetry. Originally asked to review a kitchen plan already in the works with a local semi-custom cabinet suppler while working on other aspects of this home, Elizabeth Minish Design got more involved in a collaboration to improve the layout even further. A major shift occurred when the idea to swap the placement of the fridge and eating area was implemented. This kitchen is a perfect example of how small changes can make a big difference as no square footage was added.
