iPhone app that identifies trees!!
Comments (4)Ditto that there are so many apps that you need a pointer to know what is available. I don't consider it spam....See MoreFavorite Iphone Apps?
Comments (19)terriks, we are with Tmobile also. I had a Blackberry, and thought I was missing out on on the touch screen stuff that all my friends have, and bought the Motorola Cliq. I had it a week and took it back and got the new 9700 Blackberry Bold. Now, the girl that helped me at TMobile LOVES her Motorola cliq, and another lady who came in when I was trying to decide, said she loved hers, so I got it. It was just too "touchy" for me, and I kept calling people by accident by barely touching the pad. Everyone said I would get use to it, but, I went back to the newer Blackberry. Had to wait awhile, because they have been selling out of the new BB. Saying that, I have never loved a phone so much as my Blackberry Bold. It is so much better than the older model BB's, and it is simple enough for me to handle. I guess I am just not as tech savvy as most of you or my friends-LOL!...See MoreIphone Apps
Comments (6)I have a few apps on my iPhone. iTriage is a great medical/emergency app for just in case. You can store your health records (I don't), research diseases, find medical treatment from wherever you are, look up symptoms, etc. It's free. I have a California Highway Patrol app that can alert me to accidents and road construction. I downloaded an app called 'Volume Up' that makes my phone easier to hear videos and songs without the need for the earplugs that Jack chewed up. I have Twitter but can't remember my user name or password so it's useless. I downloaded 'Google' just because I think it's one of the better search engines out there. I also have Ebay and PayPal apps and Facebook. Oh! MapQuest too but don't use it much because I have Nav in my Prius. I use my 'Yelp' app when I'm out of town and want to get something to eat. I love that app. I have a free 'Spider' game app too. I enjoy that when I'm waiting around somewhere where there is poor cell reception....See MoreSyncing Windows and iPhone apps
Comments (5)iphones have interfaced with gmail and Google apps for a good while, despite the natural tension between the two. I have a couple of family members who use Iphones, gmail, and PCs. I don't think the sync between PCs and google works as well as before, like for calendars. Your friend may need to adapt her work flow to be her smartphone and the Google site in a browser instead of her pc. I think there are IOS apps for gmail, calendar, contacts, that do the trick. Do some Googling and also check out the very active Apple forums, I think you'll find an easy solution. Or, if your friend has Apple support, call them or visit an Apple store....See MoreJeannie Nguyen
