Advice needed on selecting TV stand & coffee table
Comments (10)thank you! suzyq53, to answer your question, we added a large closet in the corner on the wall with the bar so we could have storage to put away toys. We desperately needed that, though it does limit the option of having a TV on that wall as the wall space gets tighter on that side. I went through a bunch of media console options with my husband last night - from navy blue to asian-inspired to more traditional. What I'm realizing is that he has a stronger preference for more traditional looks for larger pieces and he is more comfortable with me adding pops of color and uniqueness in pillows, wall art, decor that can be more easily changed out. This is our first time decorating a space we designed for ourselves so I get it. Of all the pieces I showed him that I would like, he liked this one the best. It's 68" so it can accommodate a larger TV if we upgrade down the road. It has a little bit of uniqueness in that it brings in iron in the doors. And with the glass, I'm thinking that I can insert pops of color through decor. Do you think that will still look okay?...See MoreNeed help select ottoman and end table for den
Comments (19)You may not go for this, but I’ll give it a try. You get lots of light from the slider and the little window over the sofa…well, it’s just little and doesn’t add anything to the decor. At first I was going to suggest removing the window, but an easier fix; something which would add interest to the wall;and bring your eye up…art hung over the window. Add two plug-in sconces on either side of painting, and two of the side tables posted above. The rug has a distinct tone and I would match it with a leather ottoman....See MoreHelp with selecting a coffee table (Pics now added!)

Comments (10)Congratulations! Your home is beautiful, I really like what you’ve done so far. There are so many ways you could go. One idea is to mix casual, traditional, and textured with chairs a touch more sleek, luxe, and modern. I like the gold legs on the side chairs for the connection with your great fixture. Not necessarily these exact chairs, but just to show what I mean: A simpler idea would be to do all Parsons chairs, slip-covered or not. They’re a classic with so many styles, and comfortable. Slip-covered ones would bring a nice softness to the concrete table. Ballard’s has some lovely ones in various colors: https://www.ballarddesigns.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/parsons-chair-slipcover---ballard-essentials-fabrics/chairs/chair-slipcovers/13173?defattrib=&defattribvalue=&listIndex=5&redirect=y&bvroute=Reviews%2FshowHelpfulCritical Lots more custom choices: https://www.ballarddesigns.com/parsons-chair---upholstered/furniture/dining-kitchen/dining-chairs/354296?listIndex=20&uniqueId=354296 PB also has these in custom options: https://www.potterybarn.com/products/pb-comfort-roll-arm-upholstered-dining-chairs/?pkey=cdining-chairs...See MoreAmy Cali
