We get Rose Breasted Grosbeaks duringntheir migration. This buy has been hanging around quite a while and eats the birdseed loke crazy and is kind of a bully. Hard to get a good clear pic. And the bluebird pair at our closest nest box have been very busy. A clutch of 4 just fledged about a week or so ago and they were still hanging around the box for days. So I hated to disturb their activity & never had a chance to clean it out. Yesterday there were 3 new eggs in it.

chloebud, we could be twins!!! I couldn't even drive a stick when I ordered my yellow bug. They had green in stock but I had my heart set on yellow. My neighbor taught me on his own bug while I was waiting for mine. He probably regretted that. LOL Anyhow, the day came and my dad took me to the dealership and dropped me off. The stick shift was stiff since it was so new and I had trouble shifting on the way home. I finally pulled over and just started crying. LOL Hilarious!! Good thing you didn't have an accident. That would have taken some serious crying.

“The scene through that glass at the end is pretty iconic.” Carol, that could be a good reason. They could’ve had a vision of that, then started searching for the right church and windows. I have a friend whose street in Pasadena was used over and over again for various commercials, TV shows and films. My friend once asked a film crew member if he knew why. He said it was mainly because the street could be ”Anywhere, USA.” She and her husband were paid extremely well for allowing film crews to use her front yard for their lunch breaks.
