Thai Basil Pizza for your Friday

Here are photos of my Thai Basil Pizza storyboard that I created years ago. Sadly, water found it, but I hope the recipe is still legible. I found it so. (I hope I have it saved to one of my hard drives.)

Note for anyone planning to use this. Since Fish Sauce is very salty, it’s best to use a thin coat.

I do not use a peel or a pizza stone. Instead, I use a large wide flat aluminum pizza pan coated with a thin layer of yellow corn meal (or, lately, seeds). I use my electric oven with a circulating fan. Preheated oven to 500 deg F. and bake pizza for about 9 minutes. Keep an eye on it but don’t keep opening the oven door. I place my pizza pan at the bottom rack position.

All electric ovens are different. Yours may run hotter than mine. I suggest not taking your eyes off your pizza after the first 5 minutes. You can add more Thai Basil leaves after it comes out of the oven (as an option.)
