Jasdip, I golfed all last week and did an Alberta road trip.

I guessed that but rejected it as I have no idea what it means. Is it a known expression in the USA?

What Jasdip said is the whole explanation. Many women will take up with a man with faults thinking she will be the one who can change him. It rarely works out that way.

I think it’s so funny that I usually miss the obvious with these puzzles - because, IRL I am usually pretty sharp. I didn’t get this one either, Like murraysmom I usually just wait around for Jasdip’s answer - which I might add I usually need a bit of spelling out to understand too. murraysmom and I think alike on these puzzles - as well as on some other topics here on KT! 😁
