Hmm - I got this - The short stop ball. I’m giving myself credit for figuring out ’shortstop’ & thinking wuzzle had something to do with base ball. But, I don’t see a clue to the word threw…. But, on further thought I guess the letters in the top to bottom order instead of linear are meant to suggest the word threw.

I am going to claim it despite the lack of threw/through. I have no clue about baseball but guessed there must be a position called short stop. Google confirmed. Thanks for posting.

Thought I posted yesterday. Anyway, I had, ”The shortstop was on the ball.” Thanks again.
