DH at hospital finding out he has a 6 mm kidney stone. Very painful and will not pass by itself most likely! I told him as well as cutting back on meat and drinking way more water he has to get back to exercising more regularly and weightlifting. And his answer was I don't have to weight-lift anymore I have a stone to lift all the time! Very funny haha.

Friends made it to Florida to spend the winter there. Asked them if I could join them and they said "sure, just bring your own rv"

Annie's photo reminded me of our visit to the Opryland Hotel in Nashville a couple of years ago. It is always decorated beautifully for the holidays. Nashville is particularly on my mind today after the terrible tragedy there yesterday, which could have been much worse if it had not been for the quick reaction of the police officers evacuating many of the residents in the area.

Lars, that is a captivating sculpture, isn't it? And there's just something that caught my eye about those fingers and those indentations - I actually took a close up shot of them specifically. (It's actually Apollo, not Pluto). I really came to love Bernini's work.
