What could I put on this buffet and how to decorate above nit?

How tall is the wall? What color the wall paint?
What else in this room?
There are general options to decorate with art (my favorite) and mirrors. It all depends on room function, lighting and budget.

Excellent thoughts above -- yes -- paint the lamps and add black shades. Consider finding a matching large blue glass bowl for your table. Place your candlesticks with the blue glass lampshades on each side of the new bowl. The bowl can be left empty or fill it with white stones or glass stones from a hobby-type shop. Keep the top of the buffet very simple -- look for a shorter blue vase to add to the other two pretty glass vases. Then stop ... and leave the rest of the space open.

I'm no pro and find hanging art & accessorizing are challenges! At first glance my first thought was to hang your beautiful art lower, and off to one side, then balance it on the other side with something on the buffet that doesn't fight with it visually but balances it. Maybe one lamp. I think the fact that it's centered makes it appear smaller and accentuates it's lack of size. I don't think I'd kept it centered & flank it with two lamps. The art will fight to be the star.

You want what you put above to have the total width of 3/4 of that buffet. So either one art piece of 3/4 the width, or two things whose width pus the separation between the two add up to that. You can use a fantastic starburst mirror, or a piece of art work. You don't want to clutter up the buffet with several small things. Skip the blue and white ware unless it is really quality. Candlesticks, or flowers in a vase, or a flowering plant, or a tea set on a tray would all look great.

Art too high. Lower it to about 2inches above your buffet. Then see what your lamp looks like. Buffet !amps are usually tall and slim. Are those .candles on the !eft? Remove those and spread out your things.

It would be good to show the rest of the room...to see how this wall ties to the rest of your space.

Some choices would be art, mirrors, photo grouping, metal sculptures.

Two lamps plus a mirror is retry classic, as is a large piece of art. If you go with a mirror, make it unique and interesting and if you decide to hang art, make sure it is large enough and has huge impact in order to hold its own with this strong, sturdy cabinet. If you place two lamps on the table, they should be slender enough that the shades aren't almost touching. Instead of two lamps, you could do one lamp and a large piece of pottery. Whatever you do, a few large (visually or physically) pieces will have more impact than several small ones. Hope this helps!
