(And in an off-topic aside -- nearly 70 years ago, when my family still owned a cottage in Truro, I helped my mother plant sea grass on a small naked dune that had been forming next to the building, thanks to the town installing "snow" fencing to control the shifting sand, to stabilize the dune. I well remember how sharp-edged that grass was, uncomfortably nicking my tender hands!)
