Why is no one ever the right amount of whelmed?

angelaid, now that's my idea of camping! I always said my idea of roughing it is when they don't turn down the bed and leave a chocolate on the pillow!

Annie when I was a child we lived near Lake Michigan and the town had a public beach--with a wood see-saw and a metal slide. I remember being dragged to the beach one day by Grandma along with younger cousin. Grandma let us play a while until I climbed to the top of the metal slide and refused ( wisely) to go down. Grandma was furious and we all argued until cousin called Grandma a 'slave driver'. I don't remember if I was forced to slide down. To this day I don't understand why I wasn't allowed to back down the steps. But we all remember Michael calling Grandma a Slave Driver.
