Jasdip ~ a related story from my ignorant youth: I had a pair of white suede oxfords shoes in high school (1960s). After a couple of weeks, those new+pricey shoes were scuffed , so I got that little device you show ^^^ and made them "look" brand new again...

Of course, I completely removed the lovely knap of the suede... and never wore them again. My mother was furious.

Extra funny today. My kids had that pop up toy and my mom used the pill sorter. Made me laugh.

I remember my kids wearing those polished white shoes that would rub off all over your clothes.

At school we had to put white stuff all over our tennis shoes every week before sports class. The nuns would inspect us once we had our sports uniforms on.
