Simple V'days table
Comments (11)Thanks for all the kind words, ladies! DG, thanks for the inspiration. I would never have thought to do pink until I saw yours and some of the other lovely pink tables. Lynne, thanks so much for the feedback on the placemats. I really appreciate it! I am going to play a little bit with more solid colors for the placemats. Thanks Slinkey! :) Sewing and fabric are another addiction altogether! Betty, I saw some pink glasses at Pier one a couple of weeks ago and they were on sale too! DD, thanks. The mirror is from Joann - if you get their coupon, you can get these for 4$ each. I was thinking these could even be placemats - maybe. Mo...See MoreHelp! Comments (10)You are wise to ask questions becasue you have a serious systems issue priority. This is classic example of why everyone needs to get your appliance specs and HVAC and electricians involved before beginning to design, especially if you want the commercial sized gas ranges. (Which you did.) Not every home can or should have gas or oversized appliances. Choosing the commercial lines adds huge costs for ventilation safety. Most people have no idea that a fan is as important as any other appliance. Call a few MORE HVAC companies and get them out to look and get some quotes. I cannot imagine any one with a gas ticket is putting in a line without checking the whole home balance, including the fan over your gas range and the range you chose. You simply cannot have gas without direct venting. You may have to compromise your range and change your BTU's or even go to induction. You need to hire a local Kitchen and Bath designer who will work with the HVAC contractor to get what you need and hopefully what you want. There are far too many details that are not even listed by yourself to address on line. Realistically, any advice here should be to have another qualified tradesperson look at it on site and work from there. This is one area where Houzz advice is not beneficial compared with a qualified tradesperson on site. Once you have this resolved and can pick the best appliance for your needs and wants then... we design. Best wishes and good on you for sharing your dilemma....See MoreNeed some simple knock knock jokes .
Comments (27)I'm partial to Limericks. - There once was a fellow named Beebee, wished to wed with a lady named Phoebe. But he said, "I must see what the minister's fee be, before Phoebe be Phoebe Beebee." - And this silly poem: - Moses supposes his toeses are roses, but Moses supposes erroneously. For nobody's toeses are posies of roses, as Moses supposes his toeses to be....See MoreFathers Day gift for the 82 yo dad who has everything?
Comments (23)Thanks for all the ideas. I have given him a few photo books, which he always enjoys. And we are taking him to the area where he grew up (across the country) this summer, to visit his siblings. That was his birthday gift! I think I'll stick with the "experience" idea. He's not really into art museums or shows, but he likes beer (!) so DH and I are taking him on a brewery tour, including lunch, on Fathers Day. Later, for dinner, we are all (including my kids) going out to a nice restaurant....See More- 8 months ago
