Bed Bath and Beyond
Comments (54)Nothing odd or unusual about our BB&B employees here. It would take a bit for me to notice. I do know the lines move SLOWLY, so I try to go at off hours. They're not as slow as Kohl's, though. . When we used to have a video store (remember those?) there was one lass with Cindi Lauper hair (multicolored) and one older guy who wore a copper wire pyramid on his head. Our local grocery hires baggers and shopping cart attendees who often have some mental disabilities with attendant "quirks" (for which I commend the store). I miss seeing the older chap who always had a kind word when he was retrieving carts from the lot. I don't know if he's still working there but at different hours, or not....See MoreBed Bath and Beyond - Beyond+
Comments (31)I love their Wamsutta sheets and the Yankee cancles have monthly "Scent of the Month" 25% off sale that you can use a coupon for after that, like a $5 off coupon. Love the Cranberry Chutney scent. I've gotten fabulous deals on Mikasa and found my "Antique White" pattern on the BBB clearance racks for one reason or another, and snapped them up (like eight luncheon plates for $9.99, usually $10 a piece). Got our Fitbits there, and will stock up on sundry items when I have a 20% off your entire purchase coupon, which I receive once or twice a year. I think the 20% off coupons make the "Harmon" drug store items very competitive price-wise. I would never pay for that service however. Not Prime either. I'm not paying a retailer to shop there.... except Costco. : ( Finally, Macy's is having their "Thanks for Sharing" promotion, which gives you 10% of your Fall-Winter purchases back in the form of a gift card in January. I paid $25 for that privilage, but it was taken off sale shoes, and the associate doubled that coupon....See MoreBedroom Furnishings (beyond bed)
Comments (42)Becky, I love IKEA hacking! I'm not sure if this would work for you Carrie as you would need bookends. However, this setup comes with add on's, can go high or lower. It's also paintable. *Does not come with wall anchor hardware. Although this is outdoor stuff I first used this in my sons townhome (with minor modifications) when I did a low cost kitchen revamp with CL island and stools. This is what I'm doing with it now. I'm adding it above this add on wine cooler and will also be filling the bottom gap. I took a bit of molding out to bring the unit up to the ceiling. I had to blend the ceiling in and fix the wall a bit. Today I will finish painting. My husband is slightly beefing up the top of the unit to look better next to the molding using cutoff parts. The unit will be same length as cabinet. It will be done tomorrow. Anyway...one can do whole walls of this......See MoreBed Bath and Beyond bites the dust
Comments (43)Surprisingly, I received yet another coupon in the mail just last weekend! I went in yesterday to return an item, and right before I left, I saw a blue coupon in my mailbox. weird. I did find something to spend it on, but that store was in shambles. there was the longest line I've ever seen there. a lady in front of me had a huge pile of coupons and cart full of goods, and was checking out one item per transaction so she could use them all. I thought that was so monumentally cheap and rude. no doubt most of those coupons were expired (BB&B does honor old ones, which was pretty short sighted). not saying she was rude to BB&B the company-- everything she was doing was technically allowed. but rude to the long line behind her and the clearly exhausted and sad cashier who had to help her....See More- last year
