@caflowerluver That plant looks like Crocosmia - it’s in Iris family & a hummingbird fave. It grows very well in my area & the brightest color orange one is ’Lucifer’ It spreads like crazy - I learned from experience with it. This below is from a search. “Attract hummingbirds to your garden with crocosmia, or montbretia, a plant that can be grown as a perennial or an annual.”

My oldest digital pictures went off into the ether with an old computer. The oldest I have now are from 2012. These two Sri Lankan girls were being taken home from school by their parents. They lived on an island and the family cutivated cinnamon.
