After reading the floof thread Products that fall flat, I decided to order some Sprayway Glass Cleaner for my glass bathroom showers. I have some glass cleaner from HD that has to be diluted, and it does not work that well. I have coating on the glass at the Salem house that is supposed to make cleaning it easier, but that does not seem to work - possibly because we have very hard water here.

Anyway, I was going to order the Sprayway from Amazon, and there was an offer for getting four cans for about $10, and so I put that in my cart. When I went to check out, the price increased to almost double, and so I deleted it and went back to look for a better deal, which I did find, not knowing it was from a different seller, but I did order it anyway. Then I noticed that it was going to take two weeks for delivery instead of two days, but I'm not in a hurry anyway. This made me think that it is shipping from China, but I have no way to know whether it will be a genuine product or not. The genuine product is probably made in China anyway, and what I ordered is simply bypassing a middle man. I blame tariffs for the increase in price for the first product I tried to order.

I had a BIG disappointment recently when I ordered this pillow cover for $49 that was supposed to have real embroidery, with quilting down each book shown, and beautiful finished trim.. From V…tique. The quilted look down each book is just in the printed fabric. There is no quilting there.

I ordered a "stained glass" bird decoration. Nope, just plastic junk.

Just looked it up--SprayWay is made in the USA.

I've been using SprayWay glass cleaner for over 30 years. Way back when, I bought it at a glass shop. Now, I can buy it at Menard's. Hands down, the very best glass cleaner ever.

Lars, just checked Amazon. 6 cans of Sprayway for $15.54. Prime delivery to my house on Saturday. Or 4 cans for $11.56. Prime delivery on Sunday.

Sprayway is made in the US. Nothing to do with tariffs. Just the usual wacky Amazon pricing/ different vendors.

Even if you had gone ahead and ordered it at $5 a can, it would still have been worth every penny you paid for it.

another vote for SprayWay! i absolutely suck at glass cleaning, never could manage to use it without leaving streaks. when i had my van detailed a few years ago, the windows sparkled so i asked what they used and lo and behold, it was SprayWay. i buy it at the Dollar General and use it almost every day on my sliding door and a couple of the windows the dogs like to gaze out of. if i leave dane drool on the glass for more than a day, i almost have to use a putty knife. 😂

also, the car detailer told me he only uses flour sack towels for window cleaning. i picked a few up at walmart, they're magical!

Speaking of flour sack towels, that reminds me. The aunt of a friend told me years ago that torn up pieces of old 100% cotton bed sheets were the best thing to clean glass. Almost no lint from those old sheets. Since those quality old cotton sheets are hard to come by, flour sack towels are a good substitute.

Walmart.com has it for $3.17/can as one option. Now I want to try it, but I need to use up what I have first, which is Windex foaming cleaner. It works pretty well.

I do wonder about any goods coming from China these days. Shipping has declined dramatically because of the dreaded 'T' word, as I'm sure everyone's aware...

cilantro, I have the last of a set of sheets from my childhood bed. I’m nearly 70! And those pink-and-white striped squares cut from that sheet, probably 55 years ago when we moved to a new house and my decor changed, have been great window-cleaning rags ever since. They sure did last!
