I have 2 Karlstad couches in leather with Aluminum legs in my family room. They get a lot of use and abuse from couch potatoes, food, cats (with claws) etc. They look brand new even though they are a few years old. I don't have any problems with the back cushions because they are velcroed into place and never move. We had looked at the Kivik in leather but I didn't like how the arms are wider and lower. Personal choice, I felt they weren't in proportion with the couch. Otherwise it was comfortable and our second choice.

As a Certified Corian Fabricator and Installer for 30 years and as an authorized TZ installer, I can assure you that the thickness of Corian is irrelevant to its use with a TopZero sink. You'd simply build up the inside of the edge of the cutout with Corian. In addition, I'd use a tinted Integra Component Bonder between the Corian and the TZ vertical flange which will provide a more flexible and therefore stronger and more permanent and waterproof bond. Furthermore, I'd strap the TZ in place, thereby removing the job of supporting the sink from the adhesive to the cabinet sides. Follow these steps and the sink will provide years of maintenence-free service in Corian or any other solid surface. Or you could install a Karran 540; a spectacular sink, particularly if you don't want any silicone joint or reveal, just a smooth transition from stainless steel to countertop:

I have had one for 2 years. Works great. Nugget ice is a huge hit with friends and family that visit. It keeps up well with ice production even for big parties of 40 guests. Never ran out! The machine keeps it frozen well. Ours is always filled to the brim. I’ve never run out, even when hosting big holidays and events. Not noticeably loud. Mine is right in the kitchen by my sink. Water and drain hookups connect under the sink like the dishwashers and garbage disposal. My installers ran the thin hoses in the back through one cabinet to connect. We have a pull out trash in between our kitchen sink and ice maker and no problems with install. Have to do a clean cycle every 6 months if you want it working efficiently for years. If you register your product with Uline, they send you the cleaning kit for free. I highly recommend.

I just had a 3 Year old Velux skylight that started leaking. I called the roofing contractor back and he checked all the flashing and resealed everything to the roof and it was still leaking. Turns out it was a defect in the seal of the glass. Since it's the rainy season in Florida, I had to have it replaced immediimmediately . Since I did not wait for Velux representative to come out and assess the situation, the warranty is worthless. Generally, they are very good products, but the warranty is basically worthless with all their stipulations.
