Breathe pure oxygen through a face mask to prepare them for the 100% oxygen they will breathe while on their walk.

If it was me, I would be checking those knots on the tether and make sure they are done correctly. I don't want things coming loose.

They formerly trained in a deep water tank that was located here at NASA’s facility. Basically they were scuba diving and a friend of mine was their instructor. They also use an aircraft that does a steep dive that puts them briefly in a weightless environment to get accustomed to the feeling. Someone told me they used and jumped on a trampoline for a part of their training but i have no idea if that’s true.
