Space Heater Advice

last year

I've posted in HVAC, but will also ask here.

Our MBA is cold. Especially cold is the WC, located on the NW outside corner. It's painfully cold during an extended cold snap like we've had recently...and will have again this winter.

I'd like to plug a small heater into the shaving outlet that's six feet (horizontally) from the door to the WC and leave it on overnight. The WC is a 3 X 4 space in the corner of the 12 X 16 tiled MBA (w/16' ceiling).

I don't expect to heat the bathroom, just take the edge off the cold. I'd leave this on overnight with the door ajar, expecting it to leak heat into the WC. (I *could* place this just inside the WC door, but it would be tight.)

I see some flat panel heaters and some others only four inches deep that would fit.

I think I want 'convection'; no fan. Oil-filled are recommended for efficiency. Any suggestions?
