When it comes to partnership, do you like common interests, like music, activities, etc. Or do you prefer opposite sides, just for variety? I prefer the same especially in music.

Wow. Never in a million would I get that one. I was trying to make a flower / rabbit /garden connection with rox’s clues. However, I did immediately figure out foas wasn’t calling anyone a name & meant to key in ”hints” not bints. It’s the Qwerty keyboard layout that tipped me off. Interesting that ’bints’ is an actual word for UK - I never heard it used anywhere I’ve been in US.

It was quite a stretch for that "g" to cover the whole space between those distant ends ... to make them "tight" - at a neighbourhood pub, maybe? Several of my rather ancient undies have become so out of touch with this attribute of their youthful activities that unless I add some extra stretch, their sideways ends have grown so distant that they drop down further than their middle, that gets hung up on the crotch of my pants- (when I'm wearing them). ole joyful

I don't know why I even look at these. That makes no sense to me. I understand it, but it makes no sense.

All day I’ve been stuck on a direction that’s not getting me anywhere.

All I can see is the word completed with the missing letters. My imagination just fails me with Rebus puzzles.

incoherent /inkōˈherənt/ 😉

PS: This is my first time playing. I just checked older posts and now understand we are not looking to complete the word but looking for visual clues to find the solution! 🤣

^Welcome aboard, lobo. These are fun, and varying degrees of difficulty. You may feel brilliant one week and clueless the next, but you’ll usually find some fun banter among the participants in any case.

Jasdip will provide the answer on Monday, usually around late afternoon / early evening. Until then, we all usually just check in with how we’re doing, not with what we think the answer is. Some of us used to provide mild hints by Monday late morning, others still think that’s too soon, so the great debate continues. I personally think Monday at noon is fair game….but again, for HINTS, not the answer. Welcome again!

^ Woops.....just realized that noon on Monday for me is still early for others.....and if you're in Australia, you could provide hints before some of us even see the puzzle! Maybe we should say noon on Monday on the US west coast???

West coast? What’s that, three hours earlier than normal time? 😉

Well, after being stuck on the obvious road, I found an entirely new road that I’m equally stuck on.

Good morning! And Happy Llama Day to all. I’m going to have to start wearing a watch again. I know I’m going to fail. 😕

Eta I’m already stressing over the thought of DST when it rolls around.

Okay, I’ll start. I’m thinking about when the kids leave home and that spare bedroom. Anyone thinking along that line?

As mentioned, I typically offer the solution 8-9 PM EST. If you were reading this thread, the answer was already given Lobo, you get a slap on the wrist, lol

Was anyone incoherent when trying to do the puzzle?

LOL! That seemed waaaaaay to obvious!

I discounted that one right away.

I can’t remember what I finally settled on but it had to do with Empty space income rent or something equally incoherent. 🤠

Anyhoo, I thought zebras when I heard the hoof beats. 🤷‍♀️ I need a break.

Thanks, Jasdip

@lettersatoz, thank you for the explanation, and @Jasdip, lesson learned!

I thought I had the answer, but after checking older posts, I realized I was completely lost. Now that I'm checking back for the solution, I'm confused... Was the answer "incoherent" all along?

lobo, you did have the correct answer!

Good stuff🙂

Incoherent?! That’s all?! Gosh I spent Sunday trying to do something with the missing "he."

Then today, determined to switch paths, I went in roxol's direction. Something along the lines of 1/3 income going to rent, perhaps.

Haha….same! Incoherent popped immediately into my mind, but thought there must be something else to it….incomplete and incoherent, or something. My other answer was low income rent.

Thanks, Jasdip!

Nope. I was along the lines of nearly incoherent or he’s not incoherent. Thanks, Jasdip.
