Wow, I can log in properly again!

Many thanks to all who communicated to Houzz about their difficulties with logging into the KT. I haven't been able to use my preferred login for months now, and yesterday I managed it! This was on another person's computer, but I hope to also do this on my own laptop.

Yeah, it can happen once in awhile like Diane said. Either the cookies got cleaned out somehow by your computer, or the website had some update or maintenance that wipes out the cookies. I hate it when my son messes with my computer and cleans out ALL the cookies. There are some websites that I can never remember the password to get on.

OaklyOk: In the older Apprentice shows, it used to look like no one ever disagreed with Trump. If you go look at the scenes where the winning team goes back to the room, there are a couple of comments that aren't all that flattering towards Trump. Trump had gone down the line on the Plan B to ask who the weakest link was. Plan B was the winning team, but Trump still had them skewer Gary Busey as the weakest link. It's obvious there is something wrong with Gary and it was totally unnecessary to make his teammates say something bad abut him. Gary was crying when they went back to the room. Either Lisa or Trace said something about how that is how Trump is. As Plan B was watching the discussion about Omarosa, I think Trace pointed out that Trump would not fire Omarosa.

In the past lots has been posted about Stack n Whack.....do a search in past posts to read what all was said. That's the idea of having all posts saved - why waste good info when one can revisit it...no need to reinvent the wheel each time...lol Did you contact the technical staff about the problem? Sometimes I have to login before EACH post, and when that happens I email technical about it....they never answer me, but the problem does get 'fixed'..

Hi ruby, Indeed - long time no see. I've moved, as well. About 12 miles out to my old step-Uncle's farm, as he died a couple of years ago and the new owner, a sod farmer, wants the land but not the house. Well too close to barnyard, so water failed e-coli test, so I must haul wanter for drinking, cooking - but that's no problem: I've done that before. Trouble is - can't find anything! Too much junkk (or is that "junque"?), I guess. You were in Maiine, earlier, weren't you? How are you liking your new place? Good wishes with your building program. Have a great New Year. ole joyful

I have not been able to sign in via houzz in probably close to a year. I just tried it and voila, it logged me in with no problemo.

OMG...I can log in also on this computer. It's been months.

I have a problem on my laptop though. I had tried various log in tactics suggested in the forum over these frustrating months. One suggestion was to reply via "Comment". It logged me in but as HU-867649264 (I'm guessing I tried the Comment on her/his post). So far I've been unable to log out; I get a long "Please wait" screen and then it reverts back to the thread and I'm still logged in as HU-867649264. Any ideas? Meanwhile I'll avoid replying on the laptop.

I just had an idea about the HU-867649264 ID. Maybe it doesn't belong to anyone else and it's a new ID assigned to me by Houzz on this laptop. I'd still like to Sign Out of it and be juneroses on both devices, but at least if I use it, I wouldn't be stepping on someone else's ID.

Juneroses, of course the ID is unique to you! If you’re hesitant to log out for fear of not being able to get in again on your laptop, one option would be to open a private/incognito tab to test logging in under your original ID. Or use a different browser if you hsve one.

edit - Just saw your prior post. My recommendation stands, but after you run your test you should clear cookies so thst you can log in undet your regulsr browser without defaulting to HU.
