Tarantula. A pest to many, although I personally love them ( I grew up a tomboy, remember?). Anyhoo, I found this juvenile tarantula on our front porch yesterday. Somewhat odd, because we usually start seeing them in August, not May! In my mind, they’re not scary, but just little gentle giants, whose bite, if they ever would, is not poisonous. I pick them up all the time to move them (for example) out of the road and to a safe place. So, that said, I picked him up and rehomed him under one of our big juniper bushes where he’ll hopefully stay safe and find good food.

Motorcycles...Many miles of memories on the seat behind my man. I had to quit riding in 2002. My man quit a year later, saying that it wasn't fun anymore riding without his "travelin' bag" as he sometimes called me.

I just went outside and found the vividly blue morning glories finally blooming, so here are a couple more pictures. Frost probably coming in two weeks lol.
