Good morning everyonbe. Still no package, and no mail today as we all know it's a holiday. We have been sleeping in so much later these last few days, that not sure we'll hear the alarm tomorrow when it's time to get up for school! My granddaughter had off as of Friday. I better get in the habit since I may be going back to work real soon...sooner rather than never! LOL Mary Ellen, I don't blame you for being partial to the photos. I would be proud as well. Dianne, I can't tell you the number of times I would "remmeber" something, anything...especially that stuff I package up and put in containers in the freezer! LMAO....sometimes it's a defrost everything to determoine what it is. Or defrost what you think were mashed p potatoes and find out it was buttercream icing! My promise to myself this year was to label everything, but I don't always. oh well. One time I had a box take the longest time. When it came down to it, it was never mailed as a priority box, so it took a longer time to get here, perhaps Vina that is what is happeneing? I'm still experiencing great problems with GW. I type to a blank page and then minutes later, the words appear. As of now, I see the paragraph where I mention MaryEllen. It will be minutes before anything else appears and then I have to go back and fix typos. So strange, not sure why this is happening. Spring, plesae come soon, I can no longer take this cold. One sungold vine died, but I still have three really productive ones. I started some sprouts and I have some sungold seed hoping for a replacement and maybe a couple more. Trudi I was reading on the other sungold thread that the flavor might not transfer to the F2s even if they look the same. Did you observe that? Our recent rain only had the effect of slowing down the ripening a little. Some of the flowers do not look too good, but many do, so I keep seeing simultaneous ripe and green tomatoes, and lots of flowers too. I feel blessed that I can have fresh tomatoes with our salads at the end of January. I gave the producing vines a nice haircut (prune) and top dressed with some compost and powdered fertilizer. Last year we also had a cherry still alive around the same spot where we now have the 3 sungolds. It is a good spot, in a deep bed and surrounded by enough vegetation that they get some protection from the heat and the cold, but still manage just enough sunlight. We did yank out the cherry last year, just because we did not like the taste. However, I see that cherries are the thing to grow around here, even if they only make it to December! So we started other varieties. So far we got: Green grape, black cherry and one called Texas wild. I have been reading about the black cherries here (some don't like them) but I have not seen much on the green grapes or Texas wild. Any experiences, good or bad?

My husband has come home to stripped wallpaper and re-painted walls and never noticed, he has come home to a new entertainment center and never noticed, he has come home to a new table lamp and never noticed, he has come home to a complete set of new bedding and never noticed. You get the picture, although he probably wouldn't notice because he doesn't get it either. Maybe just fix the room for you and see if he even notices.

Received some snowflake zipper bags,Christmas stickers, 3 garden notepads, chocolate bar, morning glory Tabi socks, pepper jelly, pins colada jelly ( Yummm) then, this cute little reindeer sack was full of an abundance of seeds - Romanesco broccoli, Cimmaron romaine lettuce, Thai sweet Basil, mixed greens lettuce, borage, green globe artichoke, Italian flat leaf parsley, giant Belgium speckled tomato, Persian carpet zinnia mix, sweet William mixed colors,sugar baby watermelon, Oregon giant snow pea, orange oriental poppy, mammoth dill, English thyme, lovage, ornamental gourd mixture, green & red shisho, and globe amaranth. Erica I am beyond blessed - Thank you so much. That was very generous of you! So I think we have one winner Amy guessed the fabric bag but if anyone guessed something close for the reindeer sack let me know as I will give prizes for both " containers". Merry Christmas!!
