Comments (11)I loved Maryanne. Isn't she a breath of fresh air especially after the "pastor" last season? Can't wait to see more of other people. I need to read up on the career opportunities in beach services and pageantry, both new to me. Jonathan was more likeable that I thought he would be from his preseason bio....See MoreSurvivor 9/28 plus recap
Comments (9)I haven't checked the recap yet, but wanted to say hat I like the extended episodes early in the season. The producers are making a real effort to let us get to know the players. I think that's been a frequent criticism in other seasons, that the one hour format didn't let us see many of the people. But the first couple of episodes at 90 minutes is great....See More9/18 Survivor starts tonight
Comments (19)DH and I just looked at each other in disbelief. I think there must’ve been some wild editing going on because I can’t believe they made that choice based on what we saw. Will this be another season in which most of the air time will be devoted to the one having constant and manipulative emotional breakdowns? I hope not. I‘d like to see more Naked and Afraid (sans hunting and being naked) and less Big Brother in The Jungle. This ”New Era” phase is not as enjoyable to me as old Survivor. Ok, I’m done grousing. Next week should be interesting. ETA: Just an FYI — Reddit has an active Survivor sub, too. We can’t direct link here, but a search brings it up....See More10/21 Survivor
Comments (10)Wowzer! I enjoyed the double elimination! Alexa going home didn't surprise me, she gave it 100% in trying to talk the others into voting out Devin. But evidently she pushed too hard and the result wasn't in her favor. I was surprised first ... last week ... when Maggie asked XXX (can't remember his name) to give her his Extra Vote, and he did. And then she visited the Dina tribe and gave both Extra Votes to Lewis and Kilby. I haven't cared for Kilby from the beginning of the season. But last night, he redeemed himself for me with his adamently staying true to Lewis and the agreement they'd made concerning using those extra votes. Editing never showed anyone saying that if Lewis left, it would be Kilby alone and the obvious person to be voted out if their tribe didn't win immunity in the future. But he had to be thinking that, didn't he? I was surprised again, that the three original team-mates of Linnea didn't go to rocks. Now that their bond has been broken, it may be easier in the future to force another unpleasant decision....See More- 2 years ago
