Wonderful visit with my friend, and I came home with these.

Went to Benezett, PA 2 weeks ago to see the elk. This guy is very popular, nickname is Handlebars.

Wow, katlan, what a beauty!! I love the elk and saw them many years ago but don't have that opportunity now.

Friends bought a racehorse and he ran yesterday so we went to see him. I played him to place, which he did, and also did a boxed trifecta and won that too. Very exciting. His jockey is wearing red. This was right after leaving the gate. I had to laugh at the guy in the picture. He must not be as close as it seems.

Went out to clean the bird feeders this morning and the butterflies were everywhere. This was one of the largest tiger swallowtails I have seen in a while.

Apologies for my very bad TV screen pic.🥴 This was a bee colony that delayed the start of a Dodger/D-Backs game in April. Beekeeper came, took care of things, then got to throw first pitch for the game. Huge roars of appreciation from the crowd!
