Oh my goodness! I am delighted to see this! I did have a good birthday. My husbands son and his wife and 2 of our grandchildren came to spend a week with me. We had a Celebration of life memorial for my husband Saturday. It was a wonderful day so many friends and family came. I told the story of how we met. There were tears and laughter. I was pretty exhausted after that. The family just left this morning and iI am back to me and Mia. I am fortunate to have wonderful neighbors and friends that have been helping make the adjustment to this new life without my husband. I have good days and bad days of course. I am making it. I am having a lift installed in one of my vehicles that will allow me to get my chair in and out of the vehicle. Increasing my indepenendence.

Linners i did get your lovely card. I will try to come visit more often here. I am not online as much these days. do miss visiting with y'all.

Again thanks for all the wonderful birthday wishes! It was also our 50th anniversary! ❤️🌹😊

The atrium still looks pretty good to me Raven, I know when the time is right you'll have it back in shape and to your standards again. Sheetrock and mudding going on, those are forward steps. Love seeing the progress on the house, and I'm still looking forward to that kitchen being put back together - I think its going to be amazing. I'm happy enough with my (spacious) kitchen now after the little space that was mine for many years, but it had been remodeled a few years before we bought the house and there are a few things I might have done differently (like a powerful range hood instead of downdraft vented through the floor to outside). I've never planned a kitchen from scratch, let alone planned one under pressure - so kudos to you!

Thank you all for the anniversary wishes. We had a quiet day. I have a friend coming today who is going to stay a few days and help me get caught up on a few things around here. I started taking up the carpet in here and we are going to put down some tile. We have a busy few days planned. Thank you all again.

Thank you for all the well wishes! I did Zumba and TRX class at the Y to start, then Drybar in the afternoon, and dinner at night. I had 6 oz filet and lobster tails. We brought a decent amount of our dinners home to have the next next. So good.

I see all the good wishes, and thank you all so much. We had a quiet day, too hot to go out and it is difficult to get me in and out of our van. We spent the day remembering all those good times of the past 65 years. Then we went all out an ordered salads for supper from Wendy's. Have heard that they are very good, and they were very, very good.

Raven, my mother got married on her birthday, June 15th. Her name was June, of all things. She died June 8th, 1998. They would of been married 50 years on June 15, 1998.

I am glad you had a good day.

Our 50th was in 2020. Sometimes he drives me crazy, but I cannot imagine……
