Design Dilemma Paint Exterior

We have this 80’s tutor like style house and need to paint it because of an addition in the back. I am looking for ways to update the look. Any advice? Should I change the “siding” or accent the trim pieces? We don’t really want to paint the brick but want to freshen up the look of the house. Thanks I’m advance for any advice.

Painting brick is a long term maintenance issue that you don't even want to start. I agree with Sigrid and the warm cream.

I think I like the brassier one (Option #1) as well as I do the champagne gold (#2) so I'd pick it. Actually, I may use it since I'm wanting a warm colored hardware to go with the gray cabinets we plan to go with. I'm also planning to use some gold light fixtures as well.

Your cabinets seem similar in tone to the trim that you asked about in your other thread. After seeing the other space, I would agree with the person who recommended a light hardwood. I like the lighter from Celery. This shows SW Repose Gray…a light, warm gray that could work well with your brick and roof.
