I'm assuming they are around 6 ft tall. No way they are going to be "freestanding" & survive wind. At the top you would need to attach them to steel pole or framework that is attached to house. I've seen them used as corners on a patio & with canvas type fabric on the frame so can "close off" 1 section. Even if you had several the height would make them unstable in wind. You could use a galvanized piece available at Home Depot or Lowes "U" shaped pieces but with squared corners to slip over the bottom in 4 places, painted to match & then bolted into the cement I think some come with bolt. Talk to the store & they could help you on that. I secured my gate that way, or course existing cement you either have to cut out concrete or add extra. Quality of doors would have lot to do with trying to do anything with them. If they are not very strong & well painted with outdoor paint that would stand up to the weather, wouldn't be worth going to all the trouble. Could Google in "louvered doors for patio" & see what comes up, might give you better idea of what you can do with them. Good Luck!

Grannytoo, I use vinyl clips to attach things to the siding...although I have been known to add a screw now and then (with sealant around it) if I want soemthing to really stay. SHHHHHHHHHHH! Don't tell my wife. Hee hee. Cindee and Breakdishes, I am considering eventually moving the door to an entrance of one of my gardens...perhaps on a new rustic arbor I plan to make this summer. I have a house built in 1895. We have had it for about 1.5 years now. The front door opens onto a covered porch. At some point in time the front screen door was removed and replaced with a metal screen door. There would have been a total of 4 wooden screen doors in this house. Looking around in the attic I found all of these screen doors. They are all in great shape. A couple of them need the screen replaced and a little paint taken off. The screen door for the front of the house is oak(almost 2 inches thick) has the cross brace the original screen and wrought iron on the bottom of the wood. Is there any reason that I should not put these back on the house? The front door would look so much better with this door.
