We are having a mantel built to fit over the space where a TV used to be. Our house is rather traditional looking. The mantel will have some other blue and white jars on it. There will also be a painting with a traditional gold frame over the mantel (or sitting on the mantel). We have various shades of blue and gold in the decorations and drapes. The cabinets are a dark reddish brown color. What color should we go with? My wife is considering black, but I am open to other color suggestions that would fit in the room. Thanks in advance!
