I think photos of Life of the Party are pretty, but cannot find much info on it. What can you tell me about hardiness and disease resistance.

Sultry, you and me both, LOTP’s scent is crazy good (far stronger and yummier than Julia Child’s). One whiff and she went from ‘new and interesting’ to MUST obtain immediately! Mine came bare root from Regan last week. I’m guessing she is no more than medium floribunda height, maybe 3.5 ft in our warmer zones. This video ARS touring with Christian Bedard on Weeks’ trials has been posted many times. https://youtu.be/DBV0ql3lOQI Toward the end of video, Chistian mentions they had a tour group from Japan, and they found one particular extremely fragrant 2019 introduction to be THE most memorable rose. That’s most certainly Life of the Party, in one of its paler phases. The other two 2019 introductions shown correspond to Arctic Blue and All Dressed Up.

As many of you predicted last year, the two Love Songs I planted in containers at the beginning of the year soon outgrew them. They are going in the ground this week. Photo taken 11/2. Yup — not container plants here. The two I planted in the ground really took off - I just took this photo now. They are of course more lavender and less pink than the picture shows. I just cut these this morning — with Dream Come True at top and Darcey Bussell (the ever-blooming) on the right. Pardon the clutter!
