do these chairs match our sofa??

We recently purchased the beige sofa and 2 mustard chairs (exactly as seen in the first picture). We have not yet received them.
We came across these brown faux-leather chairs and we really love them!
Would the brown chairs match with the grey sofa????
Can anyone use an app to show the sofa and brown chairs together so i can visualize it?

Well, if the sofa is light beige/ivory as shown in the photo, either of the chairs would work. if the sofa is grey, I would go with the mustard chairs. i am not a fan of brown and grey together.

I’m guessing at the size of the sofa, so I don’t know if this mock-up is accurate. The chair is 34” high.

Were you thinking of using both sets with the sofa?

Either set of chairs will work with the sofa color, BUT from the photos, I don't think the two sets of chairs work with each other. The brown and mustard colors are not a good pairing.

HA! One of my personal pet peeves with B-Y, they rarely make a companion chair to their sofas - and its maddening as a dealer as a lot of customers request that. Often I re-direct customers to Hancock and Moore for that reason, as there are more sofa-chair match-ups available. There's not an easy answer to your question. That's a large sofa at 95 inches, and to select chairs you should do a grid layout for size and scale, and position in the room. Also, body size and weight come into play - as well as personal preferences. A good dealer should be able to help you, do you have one locally? You can absolutely mix leather and fabric all throughout any piece or make one all-leather that is shown in a combo format. -Duane

Not sure why your chair has to "match" the sofa. I think it is wonderful that they blend in form, design, size, fabric, etc., but as far as matching, I just don't think that is a big deal. I think it might have been in past decades where every sofa had one chair that "came with it," as a set but that is no longer the case and as for myself, my side chairs and occasional chairs are not even the same color as the sofa, which is graphite and one chair is a black print with azure and paprika and the other chairs are a paprika herringbone and then the rug is ... well, I am not into matchy-matchy. :-)

I like two chairs to match. I especially don't like having sofa in one leather and a chair in another leather. If you have room for one other small chair(a 3rd), then I would change the fabric. If you are doing the chairs in fabric, I would not have them from the same set as the sofa. I guess you will get different answers from everyone, but this is what I like!

Thanks everyone... I think the 2 solid colors is what I'm struggling with...was hoping there was something with a stripe/ ticking with ivory as 1 shade, but not available. I like my current set, but wanted an update from the floral ( have gad for 14 yrs so time for a change!) and wanted a less bulky arm on sofa as small room. Also debated simply reupholstering chairs, but will likely still do so and move to bedroom. I've agonized over all of this for past few days, felt temp relief when I bought last night and back to doubt today. Maybe a sign to stay with the same:) Although my husband finally saw fabric samples tonight ( he told me to decide and was away in meetings this week)... He likes the camel. Of course he does, lol. I better call PB in the am and see if I can sleep on it for a couple of days.

Definitely wouldn’t use those two chairs together. Love those mustard chairs and if it were me I’d add a more open style (visually lighter) extra chairs or ottomans if you need more seating

Love the gold color of the barrell chairs but I don't think they look comfortable so go with the brown. ALTHOUGH you say the sofa is beige then you say it's gray?? Do you have a rug? A picture of your room would be helpful.

Apologies, but the brown vinyl(?) looks kind of yucky now. It looks fake and plastic-y, IMO.

Even tho the style of the chair is nice, it seems very different as well, with those sharply angular arms.

The matchy yellow chairs don't have to be the only alternative, however...

Definite no to the brown faux leather, AKA vinyl. As mentioned above it will look awful in a few months. Question for you re the sofa…is the seat cushion removeable or reversible?

The arms on the brown ones look deadly if you should accidentally back into one, or have kids in the room.

Gray is neural color so both chairs would work.

If you like the brown chair, look for one 100% leather; your choice is 100% polyurethane.

Polyurethane smells and the odor can last for years. Plus, it is a health hazard.
