off centered window behind a bed
Comments (3)Are you considering window treatments? If yes, great. Then you can have draperies made in the width it would take to look balanced, even if a portion of it covers just wall. Hope that is clear....See Morebeds not centered to window behind it, where to place wall sconce
Comments (7)No other set up possible. two doors on the other side of the room (one to the bathroom and one to the hallway) other side is the closet and if positioned on the other side, too difficult to get to the 2nd bed....See MoreOff centered sofa. How to balance?
Comments (22)Ingrid just to clarify, the tv console will be going away and the tv will go into a wall bookcase. I’m looking for a new coffee and end tables. Drape samples are on their way. I’m open to the idea of a glass coffee table or other suggestions but I’d rather get color from art and pillows rather than a rug for this room. On a previous thread about my living room I did take your great advice about a glass table. Thanks RNmom good eye. I moved the sofa over another 6” and it’s now centered on the windows. The recliners all get used when family visits which is a couple times a week. So the corner is used. Erin, I don’t like the couch sticking out beyond the wall either. My only other option would be to have the contractor back and extend the wall. Sounds expensive so I’m trying to make it work as is. The tv is going to have to stay on that wall. Currently the art is centered on the wall. I appreciate all your ideas even if some aren’t going to work. Now on to art - should I be looking for a vertical canvas on the left side and two square stacked pieces for the right side? If so, should they all have the same theme and colors? Suggestions?...See MoreHelp with bungalow master bedroom - Window off center behind bed
Comments (20)In my very humble opinion... I would suggest painting the Ceiling the same color as your surrounding walls, by doing this it will taKe away from all the angles and not drawing more attention to that ceiling... I would paint that wall and get some drapes in the same color, ( you don’t want to add more to make it stand out) add two pendant lights above each night Stand, you need all the space on those night stands and the lamps are taking up valuable real estate. Like this... don’t. Mind my rough drawing......See Moreheatherlyman
