M D, I did a couple of image searches and didn't get any further than you did. Have you tried turning it over to look for a label? If it really is a designer piece, it's look isn't ringing any bells with me.

Hi Amy, Thank you for your response. There aren't any loose cushions to look under as you can probably tell by the picture. The only thing on the bottom is the dust cover. Unless there is a label underneath the dust cover, there isn't anything to see there. I was trying to sell it and thought people might be more interested if they knew what brand it is. And, if I can't sell it, I will donate it to Habitat. But, even then, it would be worth it to know if it is a designer piece to estimate the value for tax purposes.

For tax purposes, (when I remember) I price my items at what I’d personally pay for them at a thrift store or yard sale. I’m not sure how much a difference being “designer “ will make in the long run. I’d probably price it at $250 and send it on its way. You can fudge a little because the tax guidelines are a little loose. But I don’t think it matters much, all said and done, if you value it at $200 or $500. I always value low because I don’t want anything to stand out.

Sorry the label idea is a no-go. I think even if it were a "name" piece, it would be hard to sell for big bucks unless it had the original legs. Habitat Restore is a great idea if you can't find a buyer. Sorry I wasn't any help!
