lol.. keeping me busy! I just looked at my house, and I'm not sure if I'm putting it together or taking it all apart! Pictures pulled from all sorts of places! I have darken the gold frame - and will dry it again tomorrow. As I keep looking at it - I do begin to see what I like and what I don't like! Plates - I have some I plan on putting in that room, where - I'm not sure! The plate rack idea might be more perfect in my adjoining breakfast room... I'll need to think on this - and you'll be sure to hear my thoughts! hahaha (I'll post of course!) rafor, I do see that this picture plus the colors, and I like that! I'm just not sure the picture itself fits "this" house.. or at least what envision!

Lavender_lass, I don't know the details about your mare and little one, but it sounds HORRIBLE. I am so sorry you've lost your baby. And I hope the little one(s) recover. On another note, I can't decide if it's a blessing or a curse to be so easily recognizable. What if I want to go incognito? Huh? Ahhh well. It's a good thing that even IRL I stand behind what I say. I remain someone you either totally dislike, or get to know me and love my snotty little soul. :) Things continue to improve, although it's interesting that improvements involve giving back what we had in some form on GW. Being their first real venture into forums, I think they're doing a heck of a job. These boards are absorbed along with some very notable boards so it's a conglomeration of many details. Of course, iVillage didn't give a flying crap about what we'd like, given they'd already decided their format. I'm liking Houzz farrrrrrrr better.

dazureus I doubt it's a thing, but it's not too late to do something meaningful for your house. As a 5 yr old I threw pennies into the foundation hole of the house my parents were building. We embedded a penny with our marriage year in the floor of my DH's workshop entry in this build. There was no viewable place to put the other pennies with family birth years in the house foundation so we are going to countersink them into a porch post by the front door. Kind of like a touchable talisman at entry. You can come up with something personal - just think about it.

There is a San Diego? based Co that sells very similar backlit panels that look exactly like stone but arent. They really look like stone and are sold with the backlighting system. I believe NorthCounty Tile has them in their showroom. Great design work. I wish I could put our pics into every waterproofing comment on here. This is an example where a complicated waterproofing system is needed not a simple tub/shower.
