@parehm, We have Flooret Modin in Arbor in our entire house (actually just laying our living room and kitchen planks today!). We did extensive research and got samples of the Flooret, Provenza, Coretec Plus, Mannington Adura Max and Kardean. We chose the Flooret because it felt and looked the best, and we especially liked the extra wide and long planks, attached underlayment and 40mil wear layer. Some people don't like the bevel but we love it. The next best choice for us was the Coretec Plus, but it was $2 more per sq.ft and didn't look as good. We have a beach house and two 90-lb dogs that constantly bring gritty sand in on their paws. We've had the Modin in our master bedroom/bath and high traffic hallway for 9 months. This floor takes a beating and cleans up beautifully. The main negatives are the shipping cost plus having to deal with a freight company for delivery. But the company has been great to work with by phone with excellent response times and customer service. I always prefer to work with local dealers, but in the case, we have no regrets going with Flooret.

Check out Raintree by American OEM. You like yourself some hardwood surface? Check. You like the waterproof properties of a vinyl floor? Check. You like the price of the vinyl floor and the resale value of a engineered floor? Check. This floor is incredible and will add value to any home all the while giving your floor the longevity of a vinyl and an engineered hardwood substitute. Be careful however. It is a true hardwood veneer on top! Meaning you can and will scratch it with certain dog and human breeds! But as far as waterproof and stability goes, no other floor can beat it with a hardwood surface on top! I know this might be late for you, but hoping some other folks on here can find this information handy. The product itself is about a year old as of October 2020, so it's relatively new to the market, but it's American made (Tennessee) and is designed by a hardwood manufacturing company. If a hardwood company designing an SPC floor doesn't get you ripped, I don't know what you're doing on this thread!! Just a flooring guy trying to make your spot look decent.

@kenuss I believe mine is laguna vibes driftwood, I'm out of town until tomorrow but I can confirm that when I get home. Yes, I'm still very happy with it and get lots of compliments. No one knows it isn't full through real wood. It cleans beautifully. If something sticky drips in cracks you I may need to use a microfiber cloth by hand here or there but that is rare. It does have a lot of texture throughout each board with tiny grooves if you haven't actually seen a piece in person. I have 2 dogs and a parrot and other than sweeping it with a cordless hard floor vacuum with a soft roller in it a couple times a week for dog hair, beach sand & dust and moist mopping with a microfiber mop with sprayer or my mopping machine occasionally it doesn't need anything heavy duty or time consuming.

I just sent a message about our floors. I don't use Houzz much so I thought it was posting to this thread. I love these floors. For anyone considering these, I highly recommend. I'm expecting then to be durable but it's only been 2 weeks since professionally installed. They're gorgeous. Hard finish yet comfortable to walk on. I will post more pics once completed finished as we are in the process of finishing up baseboards and new doors.
