Nothing shows up in the past 2 months. Posts have disappeared. When I click on my name, its says it is not valid or something like that. I get a long string of numbers and letters. I am using a tablet and don't know how to do a screen shot.

Who do I contact to fix this?

OH YES! I got hacked about 3 years ago and it was a dad blasted mess!!! I couldn't even get into my account because they changed my password. Talk about being Mad!!! I've used the same account since I started on the WWW and I was not going to start a new one. It'd take nearly a week for me to get my account back and then within a day, they be back and change my password again. They were using my id to buy items on Ebay. So, I did finally change my Ebay email address to one that I only use for Ebay and that stopped them. Believe me, I've got a password with many numbers and letters that I don't think they will be able to get. Good luck. You shouldn't have anymore probems if they deleted your account. Just make sure that they didn't buy stuff on Ebay and charge it to you. This was another one of those times that God brought everything together for me. I hadn't bought anything on Ebay for a while when this happened so I hadn't checked it out. But I do my bank account auditing online and I caught them withing 10 minutes of getting access to my account. So, I didn't loose anything. The bank refunded me $40 that they did get access to in those 10 minutes, but I normally wouldn't have checked it then but I had to pay a bill and wnated to make sure I had enought money and found the hackers. They would have cleaned me out of my $118 that I had in my account in a short time if I hadn't checked. Amazing how God takes care of us!!!

Typically when the email account has been highjacked, the best course of action is to update your Virus/spyware/Malware software and run a scan to verify that your computer is clean. Have you been able to run the McAfee scan yet? If your computer is clean, log in and reset your email password. I found a good, easy to read site that addresses this problem. Good luck Barbra! Pam, the only pic I'm worried about is a Speedo one posted here a couple of years ago to pay off a bet. LOL! Sorry to hear about your friend. I've reconnected all the plugs and run a Malwarebytes scan, run a Ccleaner and am now running a full scan with Comodo. When that's finished I'll run the Superantispyware too. So far nothing serious has shown up. I could only get the spam page before and I've now been on the Internet home page but I don't want to do anything on there until I'm sure it's safe. So far, so good. If everything's OK I'll change all the passwords I can think about and I'll definitely know how lucky I've been. In future I'll not click on any news or anything like that again. I gather you don't agree with candy crush ha ha, I suppose I should agree with you on that, it does waste a lot of time. What about jigsaws are they as bad? I do those in Jigsaw planet and they seem to be trouble free to me.

When I click on your forum name, I get a member page that's mainly empty, just the picture and "activity" which only has two entries. Like you are starting out as a brand new member.

When I click on the same, I get your member page and profile and a list of 4000+ comments going back years.

I'd try restarting your device as well, if you are unable to see what the rest of us do :-))

I get the same as gardengal with 4,810 comments when I ckick on ”Activity.” This (adorable!) pic is there from last Monday.

Thank you Chloebud. It works on Windows but doesn't work on Android tablet. So once again it is the Tablet to blame. Thanks everyone. It is great for surfing the web, but that is all.

How old is the OS on your tablet?

So much stuff has been updated that older devices and interfaces don't always work well.

And now I'm wondering if the problems with these Gardenweb forums happen more often on the houzz URL...?

The tablet is about 2 years old. It use to work showing posts but now it does not. I was trying to find an old post. I use to click on my picture, then go to Activity and it would show all my posts.

Might you need to update your device/browser?

And do you have another device you can try?

Are there ad blockers being used? Other security measures/firewalls?

Caflower- are you using the app on your Android? If so, try using a browser. From what I found, that error code is specific to some apps on some Androids and only correctible via the website or Android itself. Use the link below in a browser on your tablet and see what happens.
