I'll look for a different planter. I agree either both walls need something or I need to move the picture. I'll keep the walls bare. Val- You mean the bathroom with the pheasant fabric? Will it be ok in a bathroom because of the shower steam? - Ok, that's probably a stupid question because people put pictures in their bathrooms all the time. The glass on the front is convex? (bubbles out) and the back is somewhat loose on the one side. Not a big deal really when against the wall. I also was thinking no matter where I put those plates I at least need one more. I could maybe put plates in the kitchen on the other side of the pantry wall. Closer to the side entrance.

I had a mirror in the dining room and then we remodeled and it couldn't go there any more. Not wanting to get rid of it I looked around the house for another place to put it. The only free spot for a mirror that large was the hallway. So I turned it vertically and placed it across the door to the guest room. That way when guests want to check out how they look they can open the door and stand as far back into the room as they want to see a head to shot image of themselves. And it also reflects light from the window in that bedroom into the hallway. Since this is a very dark hallway the mirror helps to reflect light from inside the bedroom into the hallway. In other words, I tried to place it where it would at least serve a purpose again. I like mirrors in hallways, it helps to break up long rows of photograph collages, art work, doors, etc. Funny thing is, I never would have bought a mirror that large for this narrow of a hallway but I actually like it there.

You did good! Now, lets talk about sparkly chandeliers that will you will see the reflection from the bottom of the stairs .... :)

I don’t have the mirror installed yet. The white mirror is a temporary fix until the quarantine ends. My spouse and I have mild case of covid 19.
