What window treatments would you suggest?

So this room has problematic door and window heights. There are too many doors and they are all different heights as seen in the pictures.
The one that bothers me the most is the short one next to the taller windows. That door leads to basically a closest with an emergency exit (its to the roof so it isnt useful ) so i considered even mounting a bar all the way across and leaving the curtains hiding it during the day.
Ive considered roman shades too and even a valence to distract the height issue but i dont love valences they feel to traditional
Then there's the question of what color both for hardware and fabric.
Lastly currently I have one blackout ikea motorized shade on the left and an unknown brand on right that offers both blackout or see through. I like the utility of the ikea because im short but wish ikea had a motorized option with both black out and see through. The view is ugly but I love sunshine so I need something sheer.
The other issue as seen in pics is that the window goes up to the wall on the right and I dont want any sunshine blocked during the day (if I did drapes) would it look weird to have heavy panel on one side only during the day? With linen sheers covering across?

I have no idea what you want from us. You have window coverings the door height really has little to do with what you choose for the windows . I am not understanding the need for sunshine in a space you do not use during the day so maybe abetter explantion of how youuse this space other than for sleeping . If you are asking about what appears to be awindow on top of the double doors it seems that would not be an exterior wall but maybe a bit of info as to what is out that double door. I like drapes in bedrooms but in this case in such a cramped space they will make the space look even smaller The pics are distorted too.

I assume you want privacy at times for window coverings. I would explore lined woven woods in lighter shade colorings to compliment the warm tones in the space. For the short door, maybe look into getting same door trim size and adding a faux transom above it so it's same height as the adjacent windows. You could trim it out and embellish it with simple wood trim, and paint it all same color as trim/door.

The windows of a house says a lot about the personality of those living in it. The kind of treatment would definitely portray your level of elegance, taste, and wisdom. I like the idea of a roller blind for the kitchen window, if you need to cover it, or you could use a soft pleated or cellular shade. I only have a valance (Kuba cloth) in my kitchen window, which I added because I get too much morning light - otherwise I have a very pretty view from that window. For the bay windows, the corner might be a bit tight for outside mount Roman shades. I've always used drapes whenever I had bay windows, as they work well at the corners. You could use inside mount Roman shades, but they would have to be exactly the right width, and the length should be pretty accurate also.

Woven top-down-bottom-up shades would look nice there. It doesn't bother me that the door and window don't line up because they are two different things. Blinds.com has these ones that can be motorized and lined with blackout.

Your curtain idea could also be pretty. But it's a small room and I wonder if the fabric would get in your way. You'd want a double traverse rod so that the whole thing could be pulled to one side. I'm not sure if the ones below are the right color.

Double traverse Great idea! I hadn't even thought about the fact that you cant pull panels all the way across with regular rods

That metal looks great with the room is it pewter?

I'll look into blinds.com! Currently I was looking at options at two pages

I'll have to see if I can find more of the same trim and do you think it will look strange because the actual door way/ frame is pretty deep? Or will it just blend and not be noticed?

Patricia I use to sleep here but the window treatment on the left use to match the right it broke and I didnt know where it was from to replace so I ended up sleeping in the 2nd bedroom lol and using this as a closet and a watch TV while I put my close away room eventually ill start sleeping there again.

I had a friend coming to stay with me so I ran over to ikea and cut the motorized one (left) to fit the width and I was thinking of removing the one on the right and doing the same ikea motorized one as its very affordable.

I guess the dilemma is that I realized while the ikea shade solved the issue I had with the one on the right (im too short to reach) it took away the solution of sheer coverage during the day the originals had

Lastly to be honest I don't love the look of either it looks unfinished a little too commercial property and of course the fact that they don't match is probably only highlighting this for me

The door always bothered me and I figured I should ask this community for their creative solutions. Its actually the brick exterior so that's why they couldn't match the height.

I love sunny rooms I think it makes decor look better and I would like to add plants as I have SE exposure here

Also! Thats a closet with open storage above not a window

Hi, yes some version of that trim over the lower door. The trim is already on the wall so should be fine. In that open storage area above closet, consider adding some decorative storage basket bins.
