Help choosing paint color and shower curtain
Comments (17)Oh, well, I totally understand that. In that case, I would definitely get a ready made and not take on project of making something now. You can always do that later and not waste much $$ if you stay in the same color family. I like the idea someone mentioned above of a toile in a softer gray than the black. Or maybe in the short term just a pretty, fresh new white one and paint the walls a soft gray like mentioned above. Good luck with the bathroom and the baby! Comments (13)The Sweet Caroline is really pretty once it's up - I'm using it in my new baby's nursery now I liked it so much. Her room is still in progress (as is the girls' bathroom). I think it would go really in your 6-year old's room with the Betsy comforter, and it's a slightly more "mature" color so might work better with an older child. I have two girls (4 and 5 mos.) - it sounds like we're kind of doing the same thing in terms of linking their rooms. The baby has green (Sweet Caroline), 4 year old has the pink room, and the Jack-and-Jill bathroom in between is a blue-grey color (Sherwin Williams North Star - SW 6246). I did hex tiles on the floor, too, but with black accents. I decided to go a little more neutral with the bathroom since both the girls' rooms are pretty theme-y (once I finally finish them!). Aren't little girls fun?! Between decorating and buying cute clothes, though, I'm going broke, LOL. Comments (424)@duffwny - if you really want to see what Cloe tile looks like, I suggest ordering a box from Lowe’s or Amazon (Walmart might also have it - I bought a different color of Cloe tile through Walmart last year because the return policy allowed me to take it back to a brick and mortar Walmart store - even though it was shipped to me directly from Bedrosian). Both have free shipping and free returns. Also, when I purchased it - and placed a bunch of tiles out on my kitchen island, it looked like it had less color variation - but when I took a photo of it with my phone, the variation looked the same as in other photos I’d seen posted on Houzz and on Bedrosian’s IG page. The price of Cloe tile has dramatically increased since I purchased it for my kitchen + bathroom two years ago - I think it was about $6.99 sf! Lowe’s has a 90 day return policy (can return to actual store and save shipping cost): Amazon has free shipping and free returns for 30 days (fyi - I have seen the price fluctuate quite a bit on Amazon): This says ”Free 30 day returns” - but then has 90 days when clicked. When I purcjased, I called and was told I could return to a Walmart store within 90 days....See MoreWhat color grout for bathroom floor?
Comments (36)@James - If the tile your wide wants to use shown above is Bedrosian Cloe Baby Blue tile (or Equipe Artisan Aqua - same exact tile - Equipe makes it for Bedrosian + a few other retailers) - you REALLY need to purchase a box of the tile and see what it looks like in your space. The first two showers shown by @Beth H. : above are actually both Cloe Baby Blue. I have this tile - fell in love with it when I first saw this photo on Equipe Ceramicas’ website: However, the bathroom I was originally planning on using this for does NOT have any natural light. While the tile was still pretty, it did not look like the above with only artificial light. All of these are the same tile: Also, it changes colors depending upon the exposure (west/south/east/north) + time of day. These two photos are the same shower - has two showerheads on opposite walls: The color shifts between blue and green depending on where it’s installed....See MoreStacey Feken
