Yes, I like this...Yes! I like these photos of rustic look interiors. Could I maybe cover the two high windows with one window treatment placed at ceiling level and then a coordinating Roman Shade on the window to right off my fireplace? Space is small so I don't want to lose light... not sure.

This is for sure the TV room? There is so much light in here that I fear for glare for you. It's not all that uncommon to mount a TV above the fireplace, though ideally it should be lower to avoid neck strain. I think putting on the wall to the right of the fireplace might look a little unbalanced, but at least you could place it lower. I might explore other options for a darker TV room.

I love having a corner fp. We always have a fire going during cold weather, and it’s nice having it next to the TV wall. Two focal points we can be facing. Makes for a very cozy seating area. :) Anyway, do you use those two accent chairs? If not, I’d relocate or sell them and get a longer TV console. Maybe something vintage? I’d center it/TV on the wall and hang art, put the plant on the right, etc. Then you could move the whole seating area towards the fireplace more. That’s how I have mine. Empty space between the TV console (a big old Jacobean sideboard) and fp, and art all around the telly.

Ok, so here’s some ideas you may not have though of. Flip flop the dining room with the living. Depending on how your breakfast bar is done, you child just mount the tv there. Build a divider wall on top of the current bar, but leaving it open. In one photo, the tv can spin so someone could watch the tv while in the kitchen. Do a divider wall again on top of the breakfast bar but only go halfway across allowing for the person in the kitchen to still be able to see out. You could have a small divider in between the two rooms perpendicular to the sliders or you could place a lift tv cabinet there. Lots of options-just depends on what will work as far as electrical/cable access.
