Comments (121)Hi, Nicole-- Just a quick reminder that if you do plan to actually close these drapes for light blocking for daytime TV viewing (depending on light angles), you'll want to make sure that any panel you select is blackout-lined, and, as groveraxle mentions, attached with rings so you can easily operate them from ground level. Grommet panels and pole-pocket drapes are much less obliging, especially at longer lengths like you'll need, and seams/cuts wear much faster from normal open-close activity on the rod....See MoreBare wall in living room

I wonder if I mounted the TV on the bare wall with a long piece of furniture and then moved the couch to the toy wall and moved the chairs to the large window to create more space? I have two black console tables behind the couch for the lamps, etc. Does this make sense? I am open to anything! Comments (76)Ok so I’ve been busy with all the suggestions. We relocated the couch and opted to use the tv box. We love the new layout. I still need to get a sofa table and plan to replace the coffee and end table. Color suggestions? I feel Cream white could be ok. I am also leaning on painting all the walls (and tv box) SW Grey Screen. It hints to a bit of blue. Or other suggestion?
