I have a Kohler faucet in the kitchen and I'm happy with it after 2 years of use. I used Brizo in all my bathrooms and I'm happy with those too.

I have a Brizo Litz for my main kitchen sink and love it! (I also have Brizo bar faucets at two bar sinks and two bathroom sinks; those are great too but the kitchen faucet is the one I use daily. ) I had all Kohler at my old house and really like that brand as well.

I looked at Rohl faucets for my current kitchen but the spray button has to be pushed in and held to keep the spray on. That would make me nuts. With Brizo and Kohler the spray stays on until you turn it back to the regular flow. I much prefer that because I use the spray function a lot.

ETA re quality: look for faucets that are solid brass (no plastic parts.) Brizo and Kohler fit that criteria. So do others including Rohl, but I also wanted a good spray function.

@chicagoans I have to disagree, sorry. Kohler kitchen faucets do have plastic parts. Perhaps there are a couple which do not, but the majority do. I have a Kohler Artifacts kitchen faucet, which is one of the few Kohler faucets left that is still made in their Wisconsin factory (or, it was when I bought it, it might have changed since then). The head is metal-coated plastic. I do not know about Brizo.

In addition, it is actually better for the kitchen faucet sprayer head not to be metal. When you are using the sprayer with your hottest water, a metal spray head will get too hot to hold. Faucet manufacturers will purposely use plastic for spray heads for this reason.

@Lindsey S - Rohl used to be great, but has deteriorated in quality, so I would not buy a Rohl faucet today. Kohler faucets are uneven regarding quality - some are great, some are not, I would say that with Kohler you get what you pay for, so I would avoid the low-priced Kohler kitchen faucets. I advise you also to look at Hansgrohe kitchen faucets.

I have Rohl in my kitchen and am very happy after 5 years. No issues.

I had Brizo in my last house with no issues.

I have Rohl, Perrin and Rowe, and Riobel in my California home. No issues, and I love them.

M Miller, good to know about Kohler and plastic parts (also disappointing.) I had a Hansgrohe shower in my old house with a part (valve maybe) that failed behind the tiled wall and caused a mess, and I’ve avoided them since. My mom had a Grohe kitchen faucet with a sprayer that wouldn’t stay on, so I avoid that brand as well.

Brizo is a Delta company

I would do Brizo. We have a lot of Rohl. My 6th Rohl had a manufacturing defect and after 2 uses randomly broke with no one around and sprayed gallons and gallons of hot water on to our brand new hardwood floors. Womp womp.

Thank you! Bizo is definitely on the top of the list. Rohl is taken off. But, my unfortunately (haha) opinionated husband wants copper faucet now to match our copper sink. I’ve seen copper in GRAFF (as rose gold but they use it as both on their website), California faucets and waterstone (NB is out based on what I’ve read on here). Any preference on those?
I still like the Brizo look and that parts would be easy to get and that they are part of Delta.

Did you decide on what to go with? I’m pondering the same. I’ve been teetering between Rohl, Hansgrohe, SH and Brizo. I wanted a nice antique/aged brass and I don’t want a true living finish but most of what I can see is brushed, champagne or off in color so I’m considering polished nickel. Just curious if you decided and on what. Thanks!

Hi Amber! I decided on a waterstone in Chardonnay. After an obscene amount of research I kept circling back to Waterstone. I haven’t received it yet, but I’m confident in my purchase. California faucet was my 2nd choice but apparently their quality has been not as good? At least that’s what I researched. Waterstone has constant good quality and made in USA.

It’s funny I went back to Ferguson and liked the waterstone that time around so it made me go in that direction! They have samples on their website you can buy.
