24' Sink Cabinet - What size sink?
Comments (19)Herbflavor is absolutely on the mark! Homework is ESSENTIAL! We found that sinks with seemingly equal measurements from different manufacturers have different minimum cabinet size requirements. We also discovered that if a particular manufacturer did not provide spec sheets for their product or their spec sheets were lacking data that other manufacturers provided, we steered CLEAR of that product. We settled on a Julien model with zero radius corners. It was on the high end of price, and ALSO on the high end of quality, service and ultimately our satisfaction! We are absolutely sure we made the right choice after doing all the research....See MoreHelp with size of small sink and needed cabinet
Comments (3)w/ a tall coffee pot, deep would be good--don't go shallower than 7". And get a faucet that goes up, but NOT back down, so you can get the coffee put under the spigot easily. My suggestion, take the coffee pot to Home Depot or somewhere and look at some sink depth and widths. A narrower sink will leave you less room to maneuver around an intrusive faucet. So the lower your faucet reaches toward the sink, the wider a sink you need....See MoreHelp with a sink base cabinet and apron sink
Comments (20)Problem solved! (For me anyway....might work for you too though.) I called Franke and they confirmed with their warehouse that the sinks are branded with their logo on the INSIDE of the bowl, on the right hand side of the sink. The photos that show the logo on the apron front are old and they have not been making them that way for a while. If you get it from homeclick.com, there is a 10% off Franke coupon through 7/18: FRANKE10 that makes it $810. That's the best deal I can find so I'm going to get it from them. Hope this works for you too!...See Moresink size vs. cabinet size
Comments (3)I don't see any reason why a 30" sink wouldn't fit in a 33" cabinet. We're putting a 32" into a 36" cabinet. There is room to spare. If you find the bigger sink doesn't work, can't you return it for a smaller size? Hope someone with more install knowledge pops in. I advise you to go with at least the 18" wide prep sink. 15" is tight for some prep tasks. And 18" allows more space if you occasionally want to wash something out there if the clean-up sink is busy being used for something else....See MoreM Miller
