I still have my nose

Weeks ago I posted on here that after many many years of baking in the sun in a bikini toasting every inch of my body, time caught up with me. My first visit to a dermatologist last year was good but this year she found a squamous cell cancer after biopsying it. It was under the tip of my nose and I was freaking about the operation for weeks. I was sure I'd be disfigured and would need a plastic surgeon. My husband's nose in 2018 took three incisions, each specimen viewed under the microscope and his nose is not what I wanted. I was there yesterday for four hours and thankfully the first cutting was all I needed. My nose was bandaged to the hilt and the most annoying thing was the tape holding it there. I was told I could remove it after 24 hours, wash it gently, and apply Vaseline. Nurse said I didn't need to reapply the bandage. The reveal was minutes ago, and it looks like a small cut on the end of my nose with no swelling after 24 hours. So sigh of relief.
